A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to brand the Paris 2024 Olympics and Paralympics. A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to honour the heritage of the 1924 French Games and propel Paris and the spirit of Olympism into the 21st century.
A design system that beautifies Paris and says something of the spirit of the Games, while magnifying what is essentially French.
Designing a specific “coat of arms” for each Olympic sport: emblems that athletes are proud to wear.
A heraldic form as a tribute to the 1924 Olympics, and a play on the iconic symmetry of the French garden.
Introducing the Phyrges, the Olympic mascots. Opinionated and passionate like the French, the duo plays with gender and disability stereotypes. As Phrygian caps, they symbolize the dynamic of emancipation from antiquity to the present day.
